Our
Engineering system gives you complete control over the methods and components required to
make your customers parts. As a job is entered through our Job Entry system, and if
a bill of material has been set up for that customers part, an allocation for the
required materials or items will automatically be built. Also, while entering a job, if an
engineered part routing is set up for that customers part, the job routing will
automatically be created and the part will automatically be scheduled.
Engineered part
routing details the operations needed to build the part by assigning a numbered sequence
for each different operation performed in completing the part. Each sequence includes
information such as - the required work center, estimated run time and set-up time, number
of operators, and detailed manufacturing instructions.
Manufactured items
may have single-level bill of materials or, for part assemblies ,
multiple-level bill of materials may be created. Part routings and bills of
materials can easily be copied to like parts, saving the time and effort of
re-keying information. Unlimited process characteristics, conforming to ISO
requirements, can be assigned to your routing sequences, detailing the specifications that
need to be inspected during production. |
Each customer item may have
either a single or, for part assemblies, a multiple level bill of material. Exploded bills of materials
enable you to quickly identify material need dates, and assembly component start dates.
Material allocations are
automatically created from the bill of material through our Job Entry system
Part routings may be
maintained for all customer parts.
The information contained in
the work centers and the part routings provide the requirements used in our Scheduling
system. |
Unlimited routing sequences
allow entry of sequence work center, run time, set-up time, and detailed manufacturing
instruction lines. Copy of
bills of materials and part routings to like parts.
Engineered part routings can
automatically be transferred from your quote before you run an item for the first time.
Within each routing, you may
display unlimited sequence history, detailing run times, set-up times, and averages for
all of your prior job runs.. |
